H4BF is committed to working at the community level to enhance health, end hunger and overcome hardship around the world. Last year, our work impacted the lives of over 2 million plus people within Cameroon, but what is even more exciting is knowing how each of those individuals will continue to foster positive impact in their families and communities in the years ahead.

We have established an Integrated Organic Farming Training and Demonstration Centre (Bio farm) in Ako, Donga Mantung Division, in the North West Region of Cameroon, on 15 ha of land that is training farming community leaders and unemployed youths on agro-pastoral activities, climate-smart agriculture, and renewable energy. Through the center we have realized the following: –
52 unemployed youths and leaders of farming communities between 16-35 years have received training on climate-smart agriculture and agro-pastoral activities for 2 years and 10 months training course at the H4BF Biofarm center.
More than 800 women, youths and leaders of farming communities have received training on livestock production/ management, planting technics, post-harvest management for the short course program at the H4BF Biofarm Centre
More than 32 students from universities and professional schools in Cameroon have been provided internship opportunities at the Biofarm center.
At least 500 students from secondary schools’ professional institutions and universities have carried out study visits at the Biofarm center.
62 rural women farming groups have been provided microcredits to enable them to improve on their farm productivity and livelihood.
More than 800 youths, women, and leaders of the farming community have received a series of short course training on-site and seed selection, livestock farming, planting technics and post-harvest management.
50 tonnes of maize seeds and 20 tonnes of potatoes seeds have been multiplied and distributed to farming groups at subsidized rates.
We have established a sustainable marketing strategy for peasant farmers by facilitating transportation of foodstuff from areas of abundance to areas of scarcity.
We have established school gardens in about 15 schools to inculcate the values of sustainable agriculture in pupils and students.
5 female state registered nurses have been trained and supported to become entrepreneurs and to open health clinics in rural areas.
Over 52 free classes organize in Nutrition, Dance, Meditation, Pilates, and Awareness.
0ver 20 individuals provided with non-invasive care via partnerships with health districts in Bamenda.
60 health workers Sensitized and trained for health promotion on HIV / AIDS and STDS
Over 300,000 sensitize on COVID 19, 6000 face Mask distributed, 16 handwashing station installed and 2000 soaps/detergents distributed.
Replaced 1,00,000 Eucalyptus trees detrimental to farmlands and water catchment with 50,000 watershed and agroforestry trees in water catchments and farmlands in Noun, in the west region and Bui and Donga Mantung Divisions in the North West Region.
We have Established School Environmental gardens in 15 schools to inculcate values of environmental protection and management in pupils and youths.
Over 20 workshops organized on youth career orientation and youth involvement in community development and the electoral process.
1000 youths trained and supported with start-up materials to start up their businesses.
